DESCRIPTION
The Turbocharger (Part Number: 4089314NX) is a vital component in the Cummins® commercial truck engine. It is a forced induction device that increases the engine's power and efficiency by compressing the intake air. It consists of a turbine and a compressor wheel connected by a common shaft. As the exhaust gases flow over the turbine wheel, it spins at high speeds, driving the compressor wheel to draw in and compress more air into the engine's combustion chamber. This increased air supply results in improved fuel combustion, enhancing overall engine performance and power output.
