DESCRIPTION
A Turbocharger Gasket, also known as a turbine housing gasket, is a component that seals the connection between the turbocharger and the exhaust manifold. It is designed to prevent exhaust gases from leaking out of the connection and into the engine bay. The gasket is made of high-temperature resistant materials such as metal or graphite, which are able to withstand extreme heat and pressure generated by the turbocharger. The part number for this gasket is 4900719. A damaged or worn turbocharger gasket can cause loss of power, reduced fuel efficiency, and excessive exhaust noise. Regular inspection and replacement of this component is recommended to ensure proper functioning of the turbocharger system.
