DESCRIPTION
The Turbocharger HX35 Waste Actuator (part number: 4955157RX) is a vital component of the turbocharging system in diesel trucks. It is responsible for controlling the amount of exhaust gas that bypasses the turbine, which regulates the speed and efficiency of the turbocharger. The actuator consists of a diaphragm and spring assembly that work together to open or close a valve, depending on engine load and speed. When more power is required, the actuator allows more exhaust gas to flow through to the turbine, increasing boost pressure and engine output. Conversely, when less power is needed, it restricts exhaust flow to maintain optimal performance levels. The HX35 Waste Actuator helps ensure that diesel engines operate at their best by providing precise control over turbocharger operation.
