DESCRIPTION
A Turbocharger Kit (Part Number: 5495918) is a component that enhances the performance of an engine by increasing its power output. The kit includes a turbocharger, which consists of a turbine and a compressor, and all necessary hardware for installation. The turbine is driven by exhaust gases from the engine, spinning the compressor which then compresses fresh air for delivery to the engine's combustion chamber. This increases the amount of oxygen in each combustion cycle, allowing for more fuel to be burned, resulting in increased power output. A turbocharger kit is commonly used on diesel engines in trucks and other heavy-duty vehicles but can also be used on gasoline engines as well. It is an aftermarket upgrade that can significantly improve performance when properly installed and tuned.
