DESCRIPTION
The Turbocharger Actuator Kit is a component of a truck's turbocharging system that helps control the amount of boost pressure generated by the turbocharger. The kit includes an actuator that is connected to the wastegate valve, which regulates the flow of exhaust gases to the turbine wheel. When the engine is running, exhaust gases are directed through the turbine and spin its blades, which in turn spin a compressor wheel to force air into the engine's intake system. The actuator uses a vacuum or electrical signal to open or close the wastegate valve, controlling how much exhaust gas flows past it and limiting boost pressure as needed. By adjusting boost pressure, this kit can help improve fuel efficiency and increase power output in diesel engines.
