DESCRIPTION
The Turbocharger Actuator Kit (part number 3580821) is a component of a truck's turbocharging system that controls the amount of boost pressure generated by the turbocharger. The kit includes an actuator and a linkage arm that work together to regulate the flow of exhaust gases into the turbocharger, which in turn increases engine power and efficiency. The actuator is powered by engine oil pressure and uses an electronic control module to adjust its position based on input from various sensors throughout the engine. This allows for precise control over boost pressure, resulting in improved performance and fuel economy.
