DESCRIPTION
A turbocharger kit, identified by part number 3798318, is an aftermarket component designed to increase the power output of a truck engine. The kit includes a turbocharger assembly, intercooler, and associated hardware necessary for installation. The turbocharger uses exhaust gases to spin a turbine which compresses incoming air before it enters the engine cylinders. This compressed air allows for more fuel to be burned resulting in increased horsepower and torque. The intercooler cools the compressed air before it enters the engine improving its density and thus its power output. A turbocharger kit can significantly improve the performance of a truck making it ideal for towing or hauling heavy loads.
