DESCRIPTION
The Turbocharger Kit (Part Number: 4025397) manufactured by Cummins® is a component used in commercial truck engines. A turbocharger is an exhaust-driven device that increases the overall engine performance by compressing the incoming air into the engine cylinders. It uses the energy from the exhaust gases to rotate a turbine, which in turn drives a compressor. This compressor pressurizes the intake air, delivering a higher volume of oxygen to the engine. The increased oxygen allows for more efficient combustion and results in improved power output and fuel efficiency. The Turbocharger Kit specifically refers to a complete set of components required for turbocharging, including the turbocharger itself, mounting hardware, gaskets, and associated hoses and fittings.
