DESCRIPTION
A turbocharger kit, also known as a turbo kit, is a set of components designed to increase the power output of an engine by forcing more air into the combustion chamber. The 4089839 Turbocharger Kit includes a turbocharger assembly, exhaust manifold, intake piping, intercooler, and all necessary hardware for installation. The turbocharger assembly uses exhaust gases to spin a turbine which then compresses incoming air before it enters the engine. This compressed air allows for more fuel to be burned per cycle resulting in increased horsepower and torque. The exhaust manifold directs exhaust gases into the turbine while the intake piping and intercooler cool and direct compressed air into the engine. A properly installed turbo kit can significantly improve overall vehicle performance but may require additional modifications for optimal results.
