DESCRIPTION
A Turbocharger Kit, identified by part number 4955727, is a component used in diesel engines to increase their horsepower and torque. The kit includes a turbocharger assembly, exhaust manifold gasket, oil supply and drain lines with fittings, turbocharger mounting gasket, and installation instructions. The turbocharger operates by compressing air flowing into the engine through a turbine powered by the engine's exhaust gases. This compressed air increases the oxygen available for combustion which results in increased power output from the engine. Turbochargers are commonly used in heavy-duty trucks as they provide improved performance without increasing fuel consumption or emissions.
