DESCRIPTION
A Turbocharger Kit, also known as a turbo kit or turbo system, is an aftermarket upgrade that replaces the stock air intake system with a forced induction system. The kit includes a turbocharger, wastegate, intercooler, and all necessary piping and hardware for installation. The purpose of the turbocharger is to compress the incoming air and force it into the engine at higher pressures than atmospheric pressure. This increases the engine's power output and efficiency by allowing more fuel to be burned in each cycle. The wastegate regulates the amount of boost pressure produced by the turbocharger to prevent overboosting and potential engine damage. The intercooler cools down the compressed air before it enters the engine to increase its density and improve performance.
