DESCRIPTION
A Turbocharger Kit (part number 5357252RX) is a component that helps to increase the power and efficiency of a diesel engine by forcing more air into the combustion chamber. The kit includes a turbocharger, which is mounted on the engine's exhaust manifold, as well as all necessary mounting hardware and gaskets. The turbocharger works by using exhaust gases to spin a turbine, which in turn drives an air compressor. This compressor forces more air into the engine's cylinders, allowing for more complete combustion of fuel and air and resulting in increased horsepower and torque output. Turbocharger kits are often used on trucks that tow heavy loads or operate at high altitudes where there is less available oxygen in the air.
