DESCRIPTION
A valve collet, identified by part number 166772, is a small but crucial component in the engine of a truck. It is designed to hold the valve spring in place on the stem of the valve, preventing it from dislodging during operation. The collet fits snugly around the stem and creates tension against the spring, ensuring that it stays securely seated against the valve seat.
