DESCRIPTION
The Float Valve Lever, also known as the Float Arm or Float Rod, is an essential component of a truck's carburetor. It is responsible for controlling the fuel level in the float chamber by moving a valve that regulates the flow of gasoline. The lever is attached to the float and moves up and down with changes in fuel level. As gasoline enters the float chamber, it raises the float and moves the valve via the lever to close off fuel flow when it reaches a predetermined level. When fuel is used up, the float drops, allowing more gas to enter again until reaching capacity once more. The Float Valve Lever ensures that there is always an optimal amount of fuel present for combustion while preventing overflow or underflow issues that can cause engine damage or inefficiency over time.
