DESCRIPTION
A check valve, also known as a one-way valve, is a component used in truck engines to control and regulate the flow of fluids. Specifically, the 3393045 check valve is designed to prevent reverse flow of fluids within the engine's fuel system. When installed in-line with the fuel lines, this component allows fuel to only flow in one direction - towards the engine. The 3393045 check valve works by using a spring-loaded disc that opens and closes depending on the pressure differential between its inlet and outlet ports. This ensures that there is always a steady supply of fuel flowing into the engine at all times, preventing any potential damage or malfunction caused by backflow of fuel.
