DESCRIPTION
The Unloading Valve Body (part number 3558965) manufactured by Cummins® is a crucial component in the air brake system of a commercial truck. Its main function is to regulate the flow of air during the unloading process. When the driver releases the brake pedal, the unloading valve body allows compressed air to rapidly escape from the brake chambers, releasing the brake shoes from the brake drums. This enables the vehicle to come to a complete stop while preventing excessive wear and heat buildup in the braking system. The Unloading Valve Body is designed for optimal performance and safety in heavy-duty commercial trucks.
