DESCRIPTION
A valve collet with part number 3641537 is a small but crucial component of an engine's valve train system. It is a small metal clip that sits on top of the valve spring and holds the valve stem in place, ensuring proper opening and closing of the valve during engine operation. The valve collet must be precisely designed to fit the specific size and shape of the valve stem, as well as withstand the high forces generated by the valve spring. Without properly functioning collets, valves can become misaligned or even fall out of their seats, leading to catastrophic engine damage.
