DESCRIPTION
The Valve Cover (part number 3902605) is a component of an internal combustion engine that covers the camshaft(s) and valve train. It is typically made of metal or plastic and is bolted onto the top of the cylinder head(s). The valve cover helps to seal the engine's oil system, preventing oil from leaking out while also keeping dirt and debris from entering the engine. It may also include breather vents to allow for proper ventilation. Over time, valve covers can become cracked or warped, leading to oil leaks and potential engine damage if not repaired or replaced.
