DESCRIPTION
The Control Valve Body is a vital component of an automatic transmission system found in trucks. It is responsible for regulating the flow of hydraulic fluid to control the shifting of gears. The valve body consists of a series of channels and passages that direct fluid to various valves, which then control the transmission's clutch packs and bands. This results in smooth gear shifts and optimal performance from the truck's engine. The Control Valve Body, part number 4010042, is designed specifically for use in certain truck models and should be replaced if it becomes damaged or worn out over time.
