DESCRIPTION
The Pressure Relief Valve (part number 4383889) made by Cummins® is a crucial component in the commercial truck's hydraulic system. Its primary function is to regulate and control the pressure within the system, ensuring that it remains within safe operating limits. When the pressure exceeds the predetermined threshold, the pressure relief valve automatically opens, allowing the excess fluid to bypass and redirect back to the reservoir or another designated area, thereby preventing damage to the system components. It acts as a safety mechanism, protecting the hydraulic system from overpressurization which could potentially lead to leaks, bursts, or other failures.
