DESCRIPTION
The Valve Cover (part number 5374965) is a component of an engine that covers the valves and rocker arms. It is typically made of metal or plastic and seals the top of the engine to prevent oil leaks. The valve cover is mounted on top of the cylinder head and can be easily removed for access to the valves, spark plugs, and other components. It may also have a gasket or sealant to ensure a tight seal. Proper maintenance of the valve cover includes regular inspection for cracks or leaks, as well as replacement if necessary.
