DESCRIPTION
A valve cover, also known as a rocker cover, is a component located on top of the cylinder head of an internal combustion engine. Its main purpose is to cover and protect the valves, rocker arms, and other components inside the cylinder head from debris and dirt. The valve cover is typically made of metal or plastic and is secured to the cylinder head with bolts or screws. It also contains a gasket that seals it against oil leaks from the top of the engine.
