DESCRIPTION
The valve cover is a component of an internal combustion engine that covers the top of the cylinder head. It is designed to prevent oil from leaking out of the engine and to keep dirt and debris out of the valve train. The valve cover is typically made of metal or plastic and contains a gasket that creates a seal between it and the cylinder head. Over time, this gasket can wear out or become damaged, causing oil leaks or other issues with engine performance.
