DESCRIPTION
The Valve Insert, also known as the valve seat insert, is a component in the cylinder head of an engine that provides a sealing surface for the intake and exhaust valves. It is made of a heat-resistant material such as hardened steel or iron alloy and is inserted into the cylinder head to provide a wear-resistant surface for the valve to seal against. The Valve Insert is designed to withstand high temperatures and pressures generated by combustion in the engine cylinder. It plays an important role in maintaining proper engine compression and preventing oil leaks.
