DESCRIPTION
A Vent Tube is a small, cylindrical component that is typically found in the fuel system of a truck. Its primary function is to allow air to escape from the fuel tank as it fills up with gasoline, diesel or other fuels. This prevents pressure from building up inside the tank and potentially causing damage to other components. The Vent Tube connects directly to the top of the fuel tank and extends outwards towards the rear of the vehicle, where it vents any excess air or vapors into the atmosphere. Without a properly functioning vent tube, fuel tanks can become damaged due to excessive pressure buildup, which can lead to costly repairs and even safety hazards on the road.
