DESCRIPTION
The Vent Tube (part number 4988374) is a crucial component of a truck's fuel system. This tube allows air to flow in and out of the fuel tank, preventing pressure buildup that can cause leaks or other damage. It also helps to regulate the temperature inside the tank, which is important for preventing fuel from evaporating too quickly or becoming too cold and thick. The Vent Tube attaches to the top of the fuel tank and extends upwards, often terminating in a small filter or valve that helps to keep debris out of the system.
