DESCRIPTION
A vent tube, identified by the part number 5287845, is a component of a truck's fuel system that allows for the release of pressure and excess vapor. The tube is typically made from durable materials and runs from the fuel tank to an opening on the outside of the vehicle. As fuel is consumed or heated, it can create pressure in the tank which could potentially cause damage or leaks if not properly released.
