DESCRIPTION
The Vent Tube (part number 554156) is a component found in trucks that is responsible for allowing air to flow freely in and out of the fuel tank. This helps to prevent pressure buildup, which can cause damage to the tank or fuel system components. The vent tube typically connects to the top of the fuel tank and extends upward, allowing air to pass through it while preventing debris or contaminants from entering the tank. In addition, some vent tubes may also feature a one-way valve that allows air to flow out of the tank but prevents fuel from flowing back through the tube.
