DESCRIPTION
A vibration damper, also known as a harmonic balancer, is a device that is attached to the crankshaft of an engine to reduce torsional vibrations. It is designed to absorb and dampen the vibrations caused by the reciprocating motion of the engine's pistons and rotating motion of the crankshaft. The Cummins® 3957297 vibration damper is specifically designed for use in Cummins® diesel engines.
