DESCRIPTION
A sealing washer, also referred to as a crush washer, is a flat disk-shaped component made of metal or rubber that is used to create a leak-proof seal between two surfaces. The 3954861 sealing washer is typically placed between the bolt head or nut and the mating surface it is being tightened against. As the bolt or nut is tightened, the washer compresses and deforms to fill any gaps or irregularities in the mating surfaces, creating a tight seal that prevents fluid leakage. This type of washer is commonly used in automotive applications, particularly in engines where oil and other fluids are present.
