DESCRIPTION
The Water Pump Pulley, also known as the idler pulley, is a component of a truck's cooling system. It is responsible for driving the water pump and circulating coolant through the engine to keep it from overheating. The pulley is typically made of durable materials such as steel or aluminum and features grooves that align with the serpentine belt. As the engine runs, the belt turns the pulley which then rotates the water pump. A faulty pulley can cause issues such as overheating or poor performance in other parts of the engine.
