DESCRIPTION
The Water Outlet Tube, also known as a Thermostat Housing, is a component in a truck's engine cooling system. Its primary function is to connect the engine block and the upper radiator hose while housing the thermostat. As coolant flows through the engine block, it enters the outlet tube and travels to the radiator for cooling. The water outlet tube is made of durable materials such as aluminum or cast iron to withstand high temperatures and pressure changes in the cooling system. It is designed with specific mounting points that allow for easy installation onto the engine block. Proper maintenance of this component includes checking for leaks or cracks that may cause coolant loss and overheating issues.
