DESCRIPTION
A Water Bypass Connection, also known as part number 70627, is a component found in trucks that helps regulate the flow of coolant through the engine. It is typically located near the thermostat housing and connects to the water pump and heater core. The main purpose of this connection is to allow coolant to bypass the engine when it is cold, so that it can reach operating temperature more quickly. When the engine reaches operating temperature, the water bypass connection opens up and allows coolant to flow through the entire system, ensuring that all parts are properly cooled.
