DESCRIPTION
The Brake Quick Release Valve Assembly, also known as part number MC826437, is a component of the braking system in heavy-duty trucks. It is responsible for quickly releasing the air pressure in the brake system, which allows the brakes to disengage and the truck to move. The assembly consists of a valve, a spring, and an exhaust port. When the brake pedal is released, air pressure in the system pushes against the valve and compresses the spring. Once the pressure reaches a certain level, the valve opens and releases air through the exhaust port. This process happens quickly and efficiently, allowing for smooth and safe braking in large commercial vehicles.
