DESCRIPTION
The Loaded Caliper, also known as the Brake Caliper Assembly, is a critical component of a commercial truck's braking system. It is responsible for applying pressure to the brake pads, which then clamp down on the rotor to slow or stop the vehicle. The Loaded Caliper is a complete assembly that includes the caliper housing, pistons, seals, and brake pads.
When the brake pedal is pressed, hydraulic fluid is sent to the caliper, which then pushes the pistons outwards, causing the brake pads to make contact with the rotor. The Loaded Caliper is designed to withstand high temperatures and extreme pressure, ensuring reliable and consistent braking performance.
