DESCRIPTION
The Parking Brake Camshaft, also known as the Brake Spider, is a component in a truck's braking system that activates the parking brake. It is typically located at the rear of the vehicle and consists of a central hub with several arms extending outwards. The arms are connected to the brake shoes via linkages, allowing them to be pushed outward when the parking brake is engaged. This causes the brake shoes to make contact with the brake drums, effectively locking the wheels in place and preventing the vehicle from moving. The ME621222 is a specific part number for a Parking Brake Camshaft used in certain models of trucks.
