DESCRIPTION
The Parking Brake Anchor Pin Plate, also known as MK530536, is a truck component that plays an important role in the parking brake system. It is a small metal plate that is located on the backside of the brake rotor and is used to hold the anchor pin in place. The anchor pin connects the parking brake shoes to the backing plate and prevents them from moving when the brake pedal is released. The Parking Brake Anchor Pin Plate ensures that the anchor pin stays securely in place, allowing for proper functioning of the parking brake system. Without this component, the parking brake shoes would not be held in place and could potentially cause damage to other parts of the braking system.
