DESCRIPTION
The Urea Control Temperature Sensor Harness, also known as part number MK395267, is an essential component in the Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system of diesel trucks. This harness connects the temperature sensor to the truck's Engine Control Module (ECM), allowing it to monitor the temperature of the Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) as it flows through the SCR system. The DEF is mixed with urea and sprayed into the exhaust stream, where it reacts with harmful nitrogen oxides and converts them into harmless nitrogen gas and water vapor. The Urea Control Temperature Sensor Harness ensures that the ECM receives accurate temperature readings from the sensor, which helps optimize the performance of the SCR system and reduce emissions.
