DESCRIPTION
The Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Drive Unit, also known as EGR Valve Actuator, is an essential component of a truck's emission control system. The EGR system recirculates a portion of the exhaust gases back into the engine to reduce nitrogen oxide emissions. The EGR Drive Unit controls the opening and closing of the EGR valve, which regulates the flow of exhaust gases. The ME304266 is a specific part number for this component. Without proper functioning of the EGR Drive Unit, a truck may experience decreased fuel efficiency and increased emissions.
