DESCRIPTION
The Heater Air By-Pass Damper, also known as part number ME733738, is a component in a truck's heating system that controls the amount of air that bypasses the heater core. This damper is responsible for regulating the temperature of the air that enters the cab by diverting some of the air around the heater core when it is not needed. The damper is typically controlled by a cable or vacuum actuator and can be adjusted to provide more or less heat to the cab. It plays an important role in maintaining a comfortable temperature inside the truck cabin, especially during cold weather conditions.
