DESCRIPTION
The Automatic Transmission Speed Sensor (part number ME513700) is a component of the transmission system in a truck. It is responsible for monitoring the rotational speed of the input shaft and output shaft of the transmission. The sensor sends this information to the truck's onboard computer, which uses it to determine when to shift gears. The sensor is typically located on the outside of the transmission housing and uses a magnetic field to detect the rotation of the shafts.
