DESCRIPTION
The Cooling Fan Clutch, also known as a viscous fan clutch, is a component of a truck's cooling system. It is responsible for regulating the speed of the engine's cooling fan according to the engine's temperature. The clutch is located between the engine and the fan and works by engaging and disengaging the fan blades from the engine pulley. When the engine is cold, the clutch disengages, allowing the fan to spin slowly and conserve energy. As the engine heats up, the clutch engages, causing the fan to spin faster and provide more cooling power. The ME013373 is a specific part number for a Cooling Fan Clutch that fits certain models of trucks.
