DESCRIPTION
The Fuel Tank Gauge Unit, also known as the MK345268, is a component in a truck's fuel system that measures the amount of fuel in the tank and displays it on the dashboard gauge. It consists of a float connected to a variable resistor that sends an electrical signal to the gauge. As the fuel level changes, the float moves up or down and changes the resistance, which in turn changes the reading on the gauge. The Fuel Tank Gauge Unit is essential for monitoring fuel levels and preventing drivers from running out of gas while on the road.
