DESCRIPTION
The Air Conditioning Compressor Clutch Assembly is a crucial component of a truck's air conditioning system. It is responsible for engaging and disengaging the compressor, which in turn controls the flow of refrigerant throughout the system. The assembly consists of a clutch plate, pulley, and electromagnetic coil. When activated by an electrical signal from the HVAC control module, the coil creates a magnetic field that pulls the clutch plate towards the pulley, engaging the compressor. This allows cold air to be circulated throughout the cabin. When deactivated, springs within the assembly push the clutch plate away from the pulley, disengaging the compressor and stopping refrigerant flow. The ACA272C095 model number refers specifically to this assembly's compatibility with certain truck makes and models.
