DESCRIPTION
The Heater Resistor, also known as a blower motor resistor, is a vital component of a commercial truck's heating and cooling system. It is responsible for controlling the speed of the blower motor fan, which in turn regulates the flow of air through the vents. The Heater Resistor achieves this by varying the amount of electrical current that flows to the blower motor.
Without a functioning Heater Resistor, the blower motor fan would only operate at its highest speed, making it difficult to regulate the temperature inside the truck's cabin.
