DESCRIPTION
The Heater Blower Control Unit, also known as the blower motor resistor, is a vital part of a commercial truck's heating and cooling system. This unit is responsible for controlling the speed of the blower motor, which in turn regulates the amount of air that is circulated throughout the cabin. The Heater Blower Control Unit achieves this by varying the resistance in the electrical circuit that powers the blower motor.
Without a functioning Heater Blower Control Unit, the blower motor may only operate at one speed or not at all, resulting in an uncomfortable cabin temperature for the driver and passengers.
