DESCRIPTION
The Air Inlet Pipe Overboost Valve, also known as ME013735, is a component commonly found in turbocharged diesel engines. This valve regulates the pressure of the air entering the engine through the air inlet pipe, preventing overboost and ensuring optimal engine performance. When the turbocharger produces excess boost pressure, the Air Inlet Pipe Overboost Valve opens to allow some of that pressure to escape. This helps prevent damage to the engine and other components caused by excessive boost pressure.
