DESCRIPTION
The Turbocharger Waste Gate Actuator (part number ME719786) is a component of the turbocharging system in a truck's engine. It is responsible for controlling the amount of exhaust gas that flows into the turbine, which ultimately affects the amount of boost pressure produced by the turbocharger. The actuator is typically controlled by the engine's electronic control module (ECM) and uses a vacuum or electronic signal to adjust the position of the waste gate valve.
