DESCRIPTION
The Steering Draglink Assembly, also known as the center link, is a vital component of the steering system in a Mitsubishi FUSO® commercial truck. It is responsible for transmitting the motion and force from the steering gearbox to the steering knuckles, which ultimately turn the wheels. The draglink assembly consists of a long metal rod with ball joints on either end, which connect to the pitman arm and the tie rod ends. As the driver turns the steering wheel, the draglink assembly moves in conjunction with the pitman arm, causing the tie rod ends to pivot and turn the wheels. A worn or damaged Steering Draglink Assembly can cause a number of issues, including uneven tire wear, poor handling, and even loss of steering control. It is important to regularly inspect the draglink assembly for signs of wear or damage, such as excessive play or rust. If any issues are detected, the draglink assembly should be replaced promptly to ensure safe and reliable operation of the vehicle. With a properly functioning Steering Draglink Assembly, drivers can enjoy smooth and responsive steering, making it easier to navigate the road ahead.
