DESCRIPTION
The Map Sensor Fitting is an external component of the engine that is used to secure the Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor in place. The MAP sensor measures the pressure inside the intake manifold and sends this information to the engine control module (ECM) to help determine the correct air/fuel mixture for optimal engine performance. The fitting is designed to ensure that the MAP sensor is securely mounted and properly positioned to accurately measure the pressure in the intake manifold. The part number for this fitting is 1845851C91.
